Full Job Description
The mission of SOAP MAT, LLC is to provide a high quality outpatient opiate treatment program (OTP) that promotes health and well-being to an underserved opiate dependent population. The objective of the program will be to provide affordable, medically assisted treatment (MAT) utilizing the harm reduction model, focusing on each patient as an individual. The goal of treatment will therefore be to enable the community to function at a higher level, yielding a decrease in crime rates, high risk behaviors and deaths. To that end, SOAP MAT, LLC will promote sobriety, as evidenced by an absence of abusing illicit opioids.
Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist
Reports to: Office Manager and/or Executive Director
Job purpose: The receptionist will be responsible for front office duties. Such duties include answering phones, taking payments, interacting with patients and visitors, maintaining logs and assisting the office manager with any additional tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Process patient applications and admissions which have been approved by the medical director / program physician.
- Prepare patient records.
- Review admission criteria.
- Answer the telephone answer, record messages, schedule appointments and order supplies.
- Accept payments and record receipts to the individual patient ledger.
- Process Third Party Payer Insurance Claims.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the clinic.
- Assist in all areas in which he/she has received training.
- Knowledgeable of all state and federal regulations, including accreditation agency standards applicable to an opiate treatment program.
Requirements
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable of computer programs and general office equipment.
- 2+ years of experience working with the general public.
- Experience working with persons in an outpatient treatment program, preferred.
- Has knowledge of and is culturally sensitive to the problems of patients at this clinic and conducts self professionally at all times.
- Demonstrate skills in bookkeeping, typing, filing and administrative duties.
- Interact with patients, visitors, staff and demonstrate positive people skills.
- Demonstrable history of no alcohol or drug/medication misuse for a period of five (5) years prior to employment.
- The perspective individual will not display any evidence of alcohol or drug/medication misuse and/or unlawful behavior as an employee of SOAP MAT, LLC.

Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week
