About the Role
Our client is seeking a mid to senior level videographer for a music video project in Los Angeles. This short-term opportunity requires on-location shooting over one to two days. The ideal candidate will bring creative vision and technical expertise to help bring the artist's musical concept to life visually. This project offers the potential for future collaboration based on the outcome.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the artist to understand and realise their vision for the music video
- Plan and execute the video shoot, including shot lists and storyboarding if necessary
- Operate professional-grade video equipment to capture high-quality footage
- Manage lighting and audio setup to ensure optimal video and sound quality
- Direct performers and extras as needed during the shoot
Requirements
- Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio of music video work
- Mid to senior level expertise in video production and cinematography
- Proficiency with professional video cameras and related equipment
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques for various shooting conditions
- Excellent eye for composition and visual storytelling
