As the Founding Engineer at Sourced By, you will play a critical role in the development of our platform, guiding the technical vision and architecture. You will collaborate closely with the Founder & CEO to transform innovative ideas into scalable solutions. This is a unique opportunity to lay the foundation of our technology stack and significantly impact our company’s trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect the Sourced By platform from the ground up.
• Collaborate with the Founder & CEO to define product requirements and specifications.
• Lead the development process, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices including scalability and performance optimization, security and data protection, and testing and evaluation.
• Establish engineering standards and processes to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate relevant advancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, focusing on building scalable platforms.
• Proven experience in leading engineering projects from concept to launch.
• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies is a must.
• Strong expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) and modern web frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
