Fleet Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to oversee our fleet operations at BKF Engineers. The Fleet Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that our vehicles are maintained, efficient, and synchronized with the needs of our various project teams. This position is responsible for the administration and coordination of the organization’s fleet of motor vehicles and equipment. Maintains accurate records of vehicles, tracks maintenance and ensures compliance with rules and regulations 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily operations and assignments of the company fleet, ensuring optimal vehicle utilization.
• Maintain up-to-date records of fleet operations, including vehicle schedules, maintenance history, and mileage logs.
• Work closely with service providers to schedule regular maintenance and repairs of vehicles to ensure they are safe and operational.
• Monitor fuel consumption and efficiency, recommending strategies for cost control.
• Ensure compliance with relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Assist in the procurement of new vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Manage vehicle-related documentation, including registrations, insurance, and titles.
• Collaborate with office and project staff to align fleet resources with project needs.
• Provide reports on fleet performance and recommend improvements.
• Conduct periodic reviews of fleet processes and policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in fleet coordination or management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Pay: 

• The typical base salary range for this position is $26 per hour - $35 per hour.
