Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design test cases and scenarios of moderate complexity with traceability from requirements
Provide leadership on projects with responsibilities that may include test activity coordination and reporting of test results to supervisor
Execute manual test cases utilizing a test case management system
Perform exploratory testing without existing test cases
Identify and log system defects documenting in defect management system and follow up until resolution
Maintain and review test cases to improve test coverage
Analyze defects to find related defects and improve test coverage
Ensure developed functionality meets requirements through testing and validation
Provide troubleshooting of production outages and customer reported issues
Identify ways to optimize the testing window and maximize the quality of the product
Apply experience and knowledge to ensure an exceptional user experience, to maintain a reliable and bug free system, and to continually improve product quality
What You’ll Bring:
4+ years of software QA experience with expertise in Firmware
Relevant experience in QA methodologies and processes
Experience testing from manual test cases and writing tests from requirements
Experience testing mobile applications and web portals
Ability to deliver high quality results by using team’s tools with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple QA tasks
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and guidance
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
Wireless Interface Comm (Wifi, BLE, ZigBee)
Ability to read, understand, and make suggestions to electrical schematics.
Knowledge of iOS and Android
Experience testing device firmware
