Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Solutions Manager to manage a portfolio of clients within the janitorial services field. This role includes overseeing day-to-day cleaning operations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness across multiple client facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong management skills, experience in client relations, and expertise in subcontractor coordination to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring their facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, meeting specific client requirements and service agreements.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractors for specialized services such as deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, and floor care. Ensure subcontractors adhere to quality standards, service agreements, and safety protocols.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and manage cleaning schedules for each client, coordinating both internal staff and subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed on time and as per client specifications.
  • Quality Control: Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure all cleaning operations meet client expectations, addressing any discrepancies or issues with both staff and subcontractors promptly.
  • Client Communication & Satisfaction: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns, feedback, or issues. Maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships and ensure satisfaction with services provided.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the budget for each client facility, ensuring proper resource allocation and cost control. Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, optimizing spending.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all cleaning practices comply with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines. Maintain a safe work environment for both internal staff and subcontractors.
  • Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Manage relationships with external vendors and subcontractors, ensuring that all services provided are up to standard and delivered on time.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle any complaints or issues from clients or subcontractors in a timely and professional manner, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain service quality.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Negotiating contracts
  • Procuring supplies for clients
  • Ensuring high client satisfaction and adherence to a defined scope of work
  • Growing existing contracts with additional services (upsells).

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; a degree in facility management or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facility services, janitorial management or account management with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role involving subcontractors.
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors, with the ability to coordinate and monitor multiple vendors to meet quality and service standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of janitorial procedures, cleaning products, equipment, and industry best practices.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage client relationships and subcontractor interactions effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other facility management software.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and environmental practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, or kneel for extended periods.

  • OTE of $90,000-120,000k (base salary of $70,000 to $75,000) with an uncapped commission structure.
