Experienced Coffee Field Service Technician

Based in Los Angeles since 1957, Pasquini Coffee Co. specializes in the sales and service of home and commercial espresso machines. In 2024, Pasquini merged with Espresso Services (ESI), a technical coffee service company; setting the standard for service quality and customer support in the specialty coffee industry.

This role is responsible for performing installation, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer-owned and company-owned coffee equipment both at customer locations and in the shop. This position is also responsible for providing high-quality work and excellent customer service to ensure highly satisfied customers.  

Your Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Travel the region to install, repair, and maintain espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, and other specialty coffee equipment. 
• Utilize a company issued iPad to track time and materials in the FieldAware app, our field service management software.
• Keep customers in the loop with timely updates on repair status and estimated timeframes.
• Making sure your company provided service vehicle is neat, organized, and well-stocked.
• Contribute to a tidy and efficient shop environment.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for after-hours service.
• Assist other service technicians with installations and parts delivery.

Minimum Qualifications 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured.
• Time management.
• Customer service skills.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be a team player.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Working knowledge of multimeter use.
• Vo-Tech school degree; or one to two years related experience with electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Chat, Drive, Calendar).
• Experience in the coffee industry.

Position Benefits

• Pay range $28-$34/hr
