Full Job Description
As a TK/Kinder Instructor you will build and foster learning through play based hands on developmentally appropriate activities for young children. Our ratios are 1:10 in a school based setting. We are seeking committed and passionate individuals who have a strong interest in working with TK/Kinder children.

- Pay rate: $21/hour DOE
- 24 hours per week
- Program hours vary by school site: Monday-Friday

Minimum Qualifications
- Must have an (a) Associate Degree or higher, or (b) 48 or more college units, or (c) High School Diploma or GED and pass Instructional Aide exam
- Must pass criminal background check and TB test clearance
- The ability to commit to a daily set schedule.
- A desire to work with young children.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- 6-12 ECE Units
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and plan a play-based curriculum that supports kindergarten and first-grade readiness.
- Creates a program environment that fosters creativity and excitement.
- Write lesson plans using learning targets and instructional strategies.
- Create, plan, and facilitate engaging enrichment and physical activities for young children.
- Promote a safe and positive classroom environment.
