Full Job Description
We are seeking committed and passionate After School Program Group Leader to lead academic, physical, and enrichment activities as part of our East Bay After School Programs. As a Group Leader, you will lead and mentor up to 20 youth in an afterschool setting.
Benefits:
- Pay rate: $22 per hour (based on experience and location)
- Hours: 27 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, afternoons until 6 p.m.; Off holidays, summers, and weekends

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have an (a) Associate Degree or higher, or (b) 48 or more college units, or (c) High School Diploma or GED and pass Instructional Aide exam
- Must pass criminal background check and TB test clearance
- Available Monday through Friday 27 hours per week, afternoons until 6 pm
- Ability to reliably commute to Alameda, CA (LOVE Elementary)
- Passionate about learning and youth development: K-12
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Preferred:
- Commitment to a full school year, ability to practice open, clear and consistent communication, and commitment to participate in professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain a safe and emotionally supportive environment
- Execute lesson plans that support school-day learning
- Collaborate with youth to support their learning and development (youth-driven curriculum)
