EXPANDED LEARNING PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR @ Lawton: Hiring for both Kindergarten & 4th/5th Grade
We are currently seeking committed and passionate Instructors to lead Academic, Enrichment and Recreation activities for the Expanded Learning Program. Our ideal Program Instructor will have a strong dedication to youth development, a sense of creativity and enthusiasm and be able to commit to working the entire school year.
Benefits:
- Pay rate: $23 - $25 per hour DOE
- 16 paid BACR holidays

Requirements
- Must have an AA degree or higher, 48 + college credits OR pass the SFUSD Instructional Aide Exam (High School Diploma or GED required)
- Ability to work Monday – Friday until 6:00 pm for the duration of the school year (hours will be determined at time of offer, between 20 – 30 hours per week until 6:00pm)
- Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents, community partners, and BACR staff.
- Must pass a criminal background check and have TB Clearance
- Experience working with Kindergarten or Elementary school youth preferred
Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage classroom, plan, and facilitate activities for up to 20 students
- Create, plan, execute lesson plans for student enrichment
- Must be able to work independently or part of a team
- Actively supervise and ensure student safety at all times
- Model positive and proactive attitudes, behaviors and language
