Full Job Description
We are currently seeking committed and passionate Instructors to lead Academic, Enrichment and Recreation activities for the Expanded Learning Program at ER Taylor Elementary. Our ideal Program Instructor will have a strong dedication to youth development, a sense of creativity and enthusiasm and be able to commit to working the entire school year.
Benefits
- Pay rate: $22 - $25 an hour DOE
- Flexible hours negotiated upon hiring (20 – 30 hours per week)

Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work Monday – Friday until 6:00 pm for the duration of the school year (hours will be determined at time of offer, between 20 – 30 hours per week until 6:00pm)
- Must have an AA degree or higher, 48 + college credits OR pass the SFUSD Instructional Aide Exam
- Must pass a criminal background check and have TB Clearance
- Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents, community partners, and BACR staff.
- Experience working with Elementary youth preferred
Responsibilities
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to plan and facilitate activities for up to 20 students
- Must be able to work independently or part of a team
- Actively supervise and ensure student safety at all times
- Model positive and proactive attitudes, behaviors and language
