Expanded Learning Program Assistant Site Coordinator (Paul Revere)

We are seeking committed and passionate After School Program Assistant Site Coordinator to design and/or lead academic, physical, and enrichment activities as part of our Expanded Learning Program. Minimum Qualifications:

● 1-2 years experience in a K-12 setting

● Available Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

● Must pass a criminal background check and TB test clearance

● Commitment to a calendar school year (10:30am-7pm) and 6 week summer program (8:00-5:00)

● Ability to work effectively with diverse district/school staff, students, parents, and community members

● Must have a working ability with computers (composing email, scanning, Microsoft office,Google drive, etc)

● Must possess classroom and behavioral management skills for groups of up to 20 students

● Able to implement and supervise a positive and safe learning environment incorporating academics, enrichment and physical activities

● Experience hiring, supervising, and evaluating staff

● Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high degree of integrity

● Ability to practice open, clear and consistent communication

● Bilingual

Responsibilities:

● Assist the Program Coordinator in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the program at the school site

● Support program coordinator in supervision and safety of the program

● Create, plan, and facilitate engaging enrichment and physical activities for students

● Promote a safe and positive emotional climate in the classroom and on the campus

● Help schedule and participate in meetings with students, parents, day school staff and after school contractors

● Assist with creating marketing materials and writing weekly program recaps

● Assist with documenting program events and capturing photos during program hours

● Assist with subbing in for classes when short staffed

● Assist with budget management and program planning as needed

● Assist with outreach to families with program information

● Assist with program planning and attending field trips as needed
