Ewing Outdoor Supply is searching for an Estimator to join our team in the Western Territory. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating project requirements, preparing estimates, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all bidding documents. You will assess labor, material costs, and project timelines to help maintain our competitive edge in the marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and contractors to clarify project requirements and schedules.
- Utilize various software tools to analyze data and craft accurate estimates.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and attend pre-bid meetings as necessary.
- Maintain a repository of past estimate data for reference and comparative analysis.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel throughout the Western Territory as needed.
