We have a current opening for an Estimating Coordinator in our Sacramento, CA office.
The Estimating Coordinator will work directly with the Estimating Team supporting the Estimators in their bids from initial setup to the final closeout of the bid process.
Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:
- Source projects to bid; monitor all websites for new project advertisements and follow up on leads
- Timely and accurate pre bid set up; ensure all appropriate team members provided with necessary information and details, i.e. request for proposals (RFPs), addenda, etc.
- Assist with building quality estimates; monitoring and tracking of project document changes, acquiring vendor quotes, identification of potential subcontractors
- Act as project team resource; ensure project team has access to all bid time documents, assist with project turnover, etc.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of estimating coordinator experience; electrical estimating experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand construction documents
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Ability to work with a team and independently
- Possess excellent written and verbal skills
