Resource Innovations is excited to welcome an Energy Efficiency Field Operations Manager to our expanding team in California. We’re on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic individual with a solid background as an installer or contractor to help us enhance our residential equity and electrification programs. In this role at Resource Innovations, you’ll have the opportunity to conduct onsite inspections, accompany contractors on their journeys, strengthen relationships with our trade allies (such as energy service providers, contractors, installation firms, distributors, and/or manufacturers), and enhance contractor performance management. Your contributions will also be vital in supporting our program operations, inspection metrics, and training initiatives for our extensive network of participating trade allies. We believe the perfect candidate will be someone who can actively engage with trade allies in the field and help us achieve our organizational goals. To thrive in this position, a strong background in field engagement and experience in the energy efficiency or construction sectors is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Field Engagement: Conduct onsite inspections of installed projects and document findings. Perform ridealongs with contractors for quality assurance and quality control.
- Training and Capacity Building: Support trade allies to build their capacity and increase their expertise in delivering energy-efficient solutions based on program requirements and client expectations.
- Performance Management: Support technical documentation review and contribute to the development of performance management plans to address shortcomings, including corrective actions for installers struggling to pass inspection requirements.
- Collaborate with contractors to improve performance, address issues, and promote success.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and project results.
- Program Management: Regularly collect and analyze feedback from trade allies, report to program staff and Client, and use insights to help the Resource Innovations continuously improve its programs and KPIs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to travel 80% locally within the state of California (Central Valley and Bay Area).
- 5+ years of experience in the energy efficiency or construction/installer industry.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with individuals and businesses from diverse backgrounds.
- Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
Preferred skills, education and experience
- A solid understanding of the trade ally landscape and networks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Enthusiasm for sustainability, energy efficiency, and the mission of our organization.

The compensation range for this exempt position is $74,448 - $125,000. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity. This provided range may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, especially with industry experience.
