Full Job Description
EICOP is looking for the best and brightest diverse student leaders to participate in this historic program. It is for both undergraduate and graduate students from HBCUs and other predominantly minority-serving institutions.
This highly competitive program is open to students of all majors with a genuine interest and passion to pursue a career in the Entertainment, Media, Sports, Music, E-Sports, Communication, and Technology industry. Students accepted into the program will be immersed in an 8-10 week intensive paid internship experience working behind the scenes with major studios, networks, agencies, record labels, production companies, and other leading industry organizations.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides entry- to intermediate-level professional services, under supervision of professional staff as appropriate to the day-to-day operating objectives of the unit.
- Undertakes and/or participates in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise appropriate to the needs of the organization.
- Participates in the planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
- Interacts directly with colleagues, clientele, and/or other internal or external constituencies in the planning of assignments and the resolution of day-to-day operational problems.
- Receives guidance, training, and mentoring from professional personnel in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
- As appropriate to the position and as specified by unit management, conducts original research and prepares reports based on findings, to include recommendations or alternative proposals for action.
- May provide day-to-day guidance and support to student employees and/or interns within area of specialty.
- May undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to the specific objectives of the operating unit.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Entry-level knowledge and skill at the college student level within specified area of professional specialty.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

- Make sure you provide all the information before the application period closes on October 25, 2024 / 11:59 PM (PST). Applications that haven’t been completed by that date will be disregarded.
What you need to know before applying:
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college.
- Students who have completed college or graduate school prior to November 31, 2024 will NOT be eligible.
- Non-US citizens must provide an INS work authorization permit or CPT letter within 10 days after notification of being selected to participate in the internship program to qualify as an intern. In order to be paid, you must have a U.S. Social Security number prior to the start of your internship.
- All internships are paid by the host company for a 32 to 40-hour workweek.
- Internship start dates will take place between early to mid-June. Host companies will determine the exact start date once the student intern has been identified and selected. Regardless of when the internship begins, it will end 8-10 weeks after the determined start date.
- All students selected may be subject to a background check prior to final internship placement by the host Company.
