About the role
As a Document Specialist, you are a key member of the Operations Fulfillment team, responsible for managing legal document orders from initiation to completion. This includes reviewing orders for accuracy, assigning tasks to contractors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, preparing legal affidavits, and ensuring timely fulfillment for invoicing and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Oversee and process a high volume of legal document orders, including urgent requests.
- Legal Documentation: Review, prepare, and manage legal documents, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
- Customer & Contractor Support: Serve as a primary contact for escalations, resolving issues with professionalism and expertise.
- Compliance: Stay updated on process serving rules and filing requirements.
- Productivity: Meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals, reporting metrics to the manager.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience handling sensitive documentation, preferably in a legal setting.
- Experience in civil litigation, legal services, or a high-volume legal environment is preferred.
- Strong foundational knowledge of civil procedures, legal filing protocols, and process serving rules.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling legal documents.
- Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and contractors.
- Advanced computer skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Certifications such as Paralegal, Notary Public, or Process Server training are preferred but not required.
Compensation
The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, equity, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications.
$19.25 - $24.18 per hour
