What We're Looking For:

PSQ Productions is looking for a highly talented and experienced Director of Food & Beverage to join our dynamic team in the vibrant city of Irvine. As the visionary leader of our F&B team, you will have the thrill of curating exceptional food & beverage experiences for a diverse range of events. From creating innovative menus to supervising our dedicated staff, you will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of our food & beverage operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the food & beverage offerings at all PSQ Productions events.
• Design innovative menus that reflect the vision and theme of each event while considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Source and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring the highest quality of ingredients and products.
• Lead and inspire the culinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning.
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service at events to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
• Maintain inventory, manage costs, and optimize profitability of the food & beverage department.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of food.
• Collaborate with event planners and other stakeholders to understand client expectations and deliver exceptional dining experiences within budget and timeline constraints.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, including new ingredients, techniques, and presentation styles, and incorporate them into our culinary offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Director of Food & Beverage or similar role, preferably in the events industry.
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute innovative culinary concepts that exceed guest expectations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills to inspire and motivate the culinary team.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends, including emerging flavors, presentation styles, and dietary preferences.
• Experience in menu engineering, cost control, and inventory management to optimize profitability.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with event planners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry best practices and culinary innovations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt culinary concepts to different event themes and requirements.
