Database Engineer

Duties:

1. You will render all duties of the position including, but not limited to, the key job functions as set forth below:

• Providing data modeling and SQL advice through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Integrating new SQL and NoSQL data technologies into our existing application stack.
• Managing hardware and Linux administration part of the infrastructure running the Oracle RAC database.
• Ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of the database infrastructure.
• Monitoring database health, replication status, and overall performance.
• Implementing automation to improve internal processes.
• General support of production site infrastructure.
• Participating in our 24x7 on call rotation.
• Deploying new data replication infrastructure.
• Creating a data warehouse and reporting platform.

Requirements

Requirement: This position requires a bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field of study.

Salary Range: $80k to $120k
