Your Role

Our consultants guide our customers through complex technology requirements to summit the challenge at hand. You will need to be able to create order out of chaos, and compile ambiguous information into tactical action plans.

Requirements

The Data Warehouse Manager will be responsible and take ownership in supporting the EIA data and analytics portfolio that includes, but is not limited to, resources that manage back end data curation, data visualization, business data strategy, data governance, and other data warehousing and data science needs in the future to support the needs of EIA. This role will also work closely with other IT teams. The Data Warehouse Manager will also recruit and manage a strong engineering team, set direction, set goals, plan for their career growth, and provide mentorship for the team. In addition, the Data Warehouse Manager on the Enterprise Information & Analytics – Health team will be responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise data strategy that aligns enterprise information assets with business and technology strategy. This will include documenting and rationalizing multiple data repositories and organizing them into a logically networked, highly scaled, enterprise data warehouse (EDW) containing clinical, financial operational, research and educational data. The Manager on the Enterprise Information & Analytics – Health team will enable the efficient and actionable use of data across the Enterprise. The Data Warehouse Manager will work with key business leaders and stakeholders, EDW and analytics management, data governance staff, primary and secondary data owners, and BI and data management professionals to:

  • Define and implement a data strategy and roadmap
  • Identify and prioritize data needs and projects
  • Coordinate, collaborate and influence across disparate domains, entities, business units, departments and levels as needed to establish and provide standards
  • Disseminate program strategies, activities and accomplishments
  • Define policies and establish standards for modeling, structuring, naming, describing, securing and formatting data
  • Define and document the data architecture for enterprise data assets, working with business and IT stakeholders throughout the enterprise
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models with associated metadata including data lineage and technical data definitions
  • Undertake data modeling, sourcing, and profiling in support of specific enterprise and customer-facing data-driven initiatives
  • Design and implement data warehouses, marts, cubes and universes to support analytics work product requirements
  • Lead efforts to implement a reference data and master data management plan
  • Build a centralized data-architecture practice in support of strategic business and IT goals
  • Supervise, hire, train, counsel staff. Develop and deliver performance appraisals.

The Manager on the Enterprise Information & Analytics – Health team will stay abreast of current and emerging data management technologies and trends and advice on how they can be used to support business and technology objectives. The Manager will create a framework in information assets for multiple business domains that can be delivered in a consistent, standards-based framework. The successful candidate will have leadership skills, be customers focused and have extensive experience in developing enterprise data architecture solutions. This manager will have a focus in the Marketing domain. The Data Warehouse Manager will lead efforts to provide critical data, research insights, and strategic support to the Health Marketing Department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in previous roles such as director, supervisor, manager, or team lead
  • Ability to learn new software paradigms and quickly apply them to customer and internal projects
  • Ability to apply logic-based approaches to new challenges
  • Experience managing customer expectations and relationships for complex, technical projects
  • Experience in successfully balancing work across multiple customers and teams simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills; ability to constructively solve problems and conduct project team, stakeholder, and executive status meetings remotely
  • Strong management skills; ability to document project decisions, manage project scope, and escalate project concerns appropriately


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare analytics, EMR implementation, or EMR support
  • Experience with Data Warehouse management
