The New American Theatre (formerly Circus Theatricals) is a nonprofit theatre company founded in 1983 by artistic director Jack Stehlin. At the age of 28, Circus Theatricals announced our name change to The New American Theatre. The New American Theatre represents an evolution in our vision for the future of our theatre company, and the American theatre-at-large.
We are rededicating our exploration and support of new and challenging work in the American Theatre.
We are dedicated to the support and growth of all artists who participate in the collective imagination that is theatre.
With associate actors, directors, playwrights, designers, and administrators, we collaborate and perform in main stage productions, lab productions and workshops, as well as participate in weekly studios.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in Data Entry processes, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Inputting data: Transcribing recordings or manually inputting data from physical documents into spreadsheets, tables, or databases.
- Maintaining confidentiality: Keeping all information they manage strictly confidential.
- Meeting deadlines: Working under strict deadlines for each assignment.
- Communicating: Communicating with clients, stakeholders, other departments, and colleagues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proven excellent follow-up and organizational skills
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to handle deadlines and work well under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
