We are seeking a Data Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to analyze data, generate reports, and identify trends, operational inefficiencies, and cost drivers. The ideal candidate will develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency across the business. This position will be based out of our corporate office in Sacramento, CA and will require to be in-office 5 days per week.

What the Data Analyst role looks like:  

• Analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions. 

• Prepare and present detailed reports on findings, including visualizations and actionable recommendations. 

• Identify operational inefficiencies and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements. 

• Monitor and analyze cost drivers to optimize expenditures and improve profitability. 

• Develop, track, and report on KPIs to measure performance across various departments. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions. 

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and validation checks. 

• Utilize data visualization tools to create dashboards and reports that communicate key metrics and insights effectively. 

• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data analytics tools and techniques. 

What our ideal candidate looks like:   

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. 

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a fleet maintenance or logistics environment. 

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, R, or similar. 

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. 

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with fleet management software and systems. 

• Knowledge of the automotive or logistics industry. 

• Advanced statistical analysis skills and experience with machine learning techniques. 

Environment: 

• Standard office setting 

• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs 

• Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time
