Our San Diego office has its own 5,000 square foot studio for shoots, which is a key part of our client offering, developing ongoing social content, email marketing assets, social and streaming ads, photography and video for everything from evergreen messages to product launches.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Creative Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the production of creative projects for clients in the beauty industry. Typical deliverables from these campaigns will include on-figure stills, still-life photography, video content for social media, social ads, websites, banners, out-of-home (OOH), and streaming ads. This role is pivotal in managing the end-to-end production process, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest creative standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead Creative Production: Oversee and manage all aspects of creative production, from concept to delivery, across multiple channels and formats, including stills, video, social content, digital ads, and more.
- Project Management: Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules, timelines, and production calendars to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Client Management: Prepare agendas, lead calls and coordinate follow ups with clients. This role is client facing.
- Budget Management: Prepare, manage, and track project budgets, including negotiating rates with external vendors, freelancers, and production partners.
- Internal Workflow Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams (creative, strategy, accounts) to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Responsible for setting up and leading internal meetings to help projects track.
- Creative Oversight: Work with creative directors, photographers, videographers, and other creative talent to ensure all work aligns with brand standards and client expectations.
- Vendor Management: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with external vendors, production companies, and freelance talent.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure all deliverables meet creative and technical standards.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between creative, client, and account teams to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
- Problem Solving: Quickly identify and address any issues or roadblocks that arise during production to keep projects on track.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular status updates and production reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in creative production, preferably within an agency or beauty industry setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Production, Communications, or a related field.
- Expertise in Production: Strong understanding of creative production processes, including stills, photography, video production, and digital content creation.
- Project Management Skills: Proven track record of managing complex projects, with experience in budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with production tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, project management software).
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of current beauty trends and a passion for the beauty industry.
- Vendor Relations: Experience sourcing and managing relationships with vendors, production companies, and freelance talent.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a creative mindset and the ability to think on your feet.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
