Full Job Description

Endeavor Consulting Group, LLC, a leading consulting firm specializing in supply chain integration and product development for life science enterprises, is seeking a skilled and motivated Cost Accountant. As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing and controlling costs within the organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing insights to drive operational efficiency.

*This is a temporary 3 month assignment*

Responsibilities

  • Perform cost analysis to identify and understand cost drivers and variances
  • Prepare cost reports and forecasts for management
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and recommend cost-saving measures
  • Participate in month-end closing activities related to cost accounting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost allocations
  • Provide support for budgeting and financial planning
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting policies and procedures
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as requested

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in cost accounting
  • Proficiency in cost accounting principles and practices
  • Strong financial analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics
  • Superior knowledge of financial reporting software tools and ERP software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus
