Full Job Description
The Tsui Group is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to join our aviation team as a Construction Logistics Specialist II in Los Angeles County with the following duties:
Essential Job Duties:
- Wayfinding specialists with multiple years of airport experience in planning and installing temporary and permanent wayfinding systems to guide pedestrian flow through airport during construction phases, aligning with user expectations and environmental considerations.
- Track contractor compliance with construction barricade standards to ensure wayfinding system sare implemented according to program guidelines.
- Manage workflow for the onsite sign shop, including overseeing material and supply stock for continuous wayfinding support.
- Attend terminal, roadway, and airfield project meetings to assess time and space impacts, ensuring wayfinding systems adapt to ongoing construction.
- Review Phasing Plans and Site Logistics Plans submitted through ASR and LIR processes to identify wayfinding impacts, scheduling site walks and conduct assessments of program logistics as needed.
- Reports and track logistics concerns, actively managing logistics adjustments as construction changes arise, with a focus on minimizing impacts and enhancing guest experience.
- Proficient in selecting materials and fabrication methods for wayfinding systems, ensuring high-quality visual communication that aligns with construction and wayfinding standards.
- Effective at collaborating with stakeholders such as Project Managers, airport's Wayfinding and Graphics teams to ensure wayfinding aligns with airport's standards and they are maintained.
- Managed logistics and wayfinding across various high-profile projects at airport, ensuring minimal disruptions.
- Proactively identifies potential time-space conflicts and proposes solutions. Balances multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting, maintaining efficiency and operational quality.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Bluebeam for producing and reviewing wayfinding plans, and layouts.
- Skilled in MicrosoftOffice (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for managing communications, scheduling, and project tracking.
- The candidate shall pass the federal background check and airport Badge is required.
- May assume other duties as required/needed
Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 10 years or more experience, preferably on airport building programs or similar complex building programs
Education and Training Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required
- Master's degree preferred
- Relevant professional licensure and/or certification are strongly preferred. Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc.

- Salary Range: $100,000-$105,000
