Construction Laborer

Job Description: As a General Construction Worker at Legacy Builders Construction, you will be responsible for performing various skilled tasks in the construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings, facilities, and other structures. You will work under the direction of a Foreman or Supervisor, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled tasks in the construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings and other structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Install, maintain, and repair various types of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise on the job site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and stamina to perform tasks that require heavy lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
