Full Job Description
Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients’ recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.
The Computer Technician is responsible for customer support for business systems and technology, including, but not limited to; Desktops, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Audio-Visual equipment, cloud and on-premises business applications, new equipment configuration and deployment, User and Computer account creation, employee on-board and off-board operations. Be customer-centric to provide a personalized level of service utilizing Millennium Health’s tools and solutions.
- Triaging and prioritization of client requests including documentation of issues and actions taken.
- Provides technical support and assistance to end users via email, phone, and/or other remote methods.
- Addresses and responds to end user requests for services, including installation, operational functions, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers and peripherals.
- Build rapport, work with end users, and offer solutions while providing an elevated level of service.
- Receiving assets and updating asset management records.
- Moving equipment within and/or between facilities.
- Staging of equipment for building/imaging of hardware setups and replacements.
- Be available for and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation including weekends.
- Ability to ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are always adhered to.
- Ability to ensure administrative, physical and technical cyber security controls are always adhered to.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday
- High School Diploma, technical training or certifications preferred
- 1+ years of end user laptop/desktop support including Windows operation system configuration, application troubleshooting, and accessory installation.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and business applications (MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience providing direct end user technical support in person, online or via phone, in a corporate/professional environment.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrable efficiency in Microsoft Active Directory
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and principles, including wireless networks
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Potential Hiring Range:
- Pay Range: $25-$30 /hr.
- Salary offered is dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
