Lyon | Stahl Investment Real Estate is a fast-growing commercial real estate brokerage. With offices in El Segundo, West LA, Long Beach and Riverside, we’ve established ourselves as Southern California’s premiere brokerage specializing in multi-family investment real estate.
As an Intern at Lyon Stahl, you will participate in an a program focusing on multi-family real estate sales. Responsibilities may range from administrative tasks, property research, marketing, and prospecting calls.
Over the course of eight weeks (June 2024-August 2024) you will be fully integrated into the team and culture at Lyon Stahl and our affiliate entities. Our internship program offers immediate exposure to senior level leaders, dedicated one-on-one and class-based training, as well as social events. This internship has been designed to shape top candidates into the future leaders of our company. We want students who are motivated, creative, and strategic – natural leaders who seek to drive results.
**This is an unpaid internship that will go towards academic credit. The Internship is intended for education and learning purposes.**
Requirements
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate or related field (entering Senior year at an accredited university)
- 1 + years of experience in sales preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Comfortable learning and utilizing new systems (Salesforce)
- Demonstrates a dedication and willingness to practice a variety of sales techniques
- Maintaining a professional work ethic
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with a variety of different personalities
- Candidates that already have, or are working towards obtaining a CA Real Estate license are highly preferred
Training Lessons & Opportunities:
- Develop an understanding across the following business segments; commercial real estate sales, mortgages/financing, and property management
- Learn and demonstrate various sales strategies; including prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, networking and other techniques to obtain and maintain business.
- Develop the necessary skills to create Marketing materials - OM’s, BOV’s and mailers
- Learn how to properly utilize our internal database
