Pay Range: $72 - $80
Summary/Objective:
To provide the highest quality individual and group clinical supervision and training experience to Post Doctoral Fellows, APA Psychology interns, and Practicum students.

· Able to provide individual and group supervision in accordance with Board of Psychology Regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Training and supervision of pre and post-doctoral interns in both group and individual therapy formats
- Support activities of the Department Head including program development, program and schedule oversight and performance improvement projects
- Provide process-oriented group therapy as well as psycho-educational and other didactic groups for patients using various professional treatment modalities
- Provide process-oriented group therapy supervision for interns, as well as psycho-educational and other didactic group supervision for patients using various professional treatment modalities
- Provide individual, couples or family therapy using evidence based highest quality modalities for which they have received an adequate amount of training and supervision
- Provide supervision on individual, couples or family therapy using evidence based highest quality modalities for which they have received an adequate amount of training and supervision
- Report to community/state agencies any patient issues required and represents facility in any legal proceedings
Work Environment
· Inpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) facility
Requirements
Physical Demands
· Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, moving about in work area and throughout organization to accomplish tasks and grasp
· Ability to perceive the nature of sounds with no less than 40 dB loss at Hz, 1000 Hz and 2000 Hz with or without correction; perceive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound
· Perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers
· Able to concentrate on work amid distractions such as noise, conversations, and foot traffic; able to consistently meet deadlines regardless of case load; be flexible in work hours in order to meet patient and organization operating needs
· Be able to maintain self-control in volatile or hostile situations such as when verbally or physically confronted
· Able to set therapeutic limits and maintain therapeutic distance with clients; maintain therapeutic boundaries with patients during treatment and following discharge

Required Education and Experience
· Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
· Full Unrestricted License to practice in the state of California
· Experience in group and individual therapy CBT and DBT modalities
Preferred Education and Experience
· Experience working in a Psychiatric Hospital
· Experience treating Active-Duty Military and/or First Responders
· Experience treating children and adolescents
· 3 years plus of supervision experience
