Full Job Description
The April Parker Foundation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Director to join our team on a contractual basis. The Clinical Director will play a crucial role in supporting clinical operations of our organization, ensuring high-quality mental health services aligned with guidelines are provided to our clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Medi-Cal billing codes, possess strong leadership skills, and actively contribute to the professional growth of our associate level clinicians and master's level interns.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Clinical Supervision:
- Provide clinical supervision to associate level clinicians and master's level interns.
- Monitor and evaluate the delivery of mental health services to ensure compliance with ethical standards and best practices.
- Facilitate regular case consultations and provide guidance on complex cases.
2. Program Oversight:
- Collaborate with the program team to develop, implement, and evaluate mental health programs.
- Ensure adherence to Medi-Cal billing codes and regulations in all clinical activities.
- Conduct meticulous recordkeeping to maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
3. Professional Development:
- Support the ongoing professional development of clinical staff.
- Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance the clinical skills of the team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
4. Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other departments to integrate mental health services into the overall mission of the organization.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including government agencies and community partners
5. Quality Improvement:
- Implement and oversee quality improvement initiatives within the clinical department.
- Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of clinical services and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Must hold active clinical license in CA, [e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC] and meet supervisory requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with a focus on community mental health.
- In-depth knowledge of Medi-Cal billing codes and regulations.
- Previous experience in clinical supervision preferred, preferably with associate level clinicians and master's level interns.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
