Camio is a leading AI Computer-Vision company dedicated to revolutionizing video analytics, search and retention solutions for governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) applications. The company has differentiating technology and a robust video retention platform to aggressively target this market. The Camio product leverages cutting-edge technology to empower organizations with enhanced insights and compliance capabilities. Camio already has a number of interesting case study customers, including Stanford University (DOD), Altria (regulatory compliance) and Delta Airlines (via NewRest/TSA for safety risk).

 

About the Chief Revenue Officer Role

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, "ground up" Chief Revenue Officer to lead our revenue generation efforts and build this function. The ideal candidate will have clear evidence that they can drive sales strategy and bizops, revenue growth, and customer engagement for our specialized AI Computer Vision platform. As sales increase, you will build a team based on your vision for the function.

Your key accountabilities will be:

  1. Revenue Strategy. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company's goals and market opportunities. Increase sales. Identify and explore new revenue streams, partnerships, and market segments.
  2. Sales Leadership. Increase sales, selling personally and by overseeing a junior sales person who is staffed to Camio from Palm Venture Studios. Over time, build and inspire a sales team, setting clear targets and fostering a high-performance culture.
  3. Market Positioning. Define, inform, and implement effective market positioning strategies to differentiate our AI Computer Vision platform in the competitive landscape.
  4. Customer Engagement. Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and partners, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Drive customer retention and expansion initiatives.
  5. Data-Driven Decision Making. Use data analytics to make informed decisions, optimize sales processes, and enhance overall revenue performance.
  6. Executive Reporting & Collaboration. Communicate regularly on revenue performance, challenges, and opportunities. Collaborate with executive leadership to align revenue goals with the overall business strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful revenue leadership in GRC platforms or technology-related companies targeting large enterprise customers.
  • Ideally include experience in sales leadership within the AI and/or computer-vision industry, particularly focusing on video analytics and retention solutions.
  • Have demonstrable success in dealing with clients in sectors such as government (DOD contracts), environmental compliance (EPA regulations), insurance (risk mitigation), and the like.
  • Additionally, expertise in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and understanding the specific needs of governance, risk, and compliance applications would be valuable. 
  • Strong understanding of GRC/relevant technologies and their applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment.
