Full Job Description
Our mission at Oura is to make health a daily practice, empowering every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community with daily insights to inspire healthy lifestyles. We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health.
At Oura we are building a complete platform for preventative health, from sleep optimization to metabolic health, women’s health, stress management and heart health tracking. We view Oura Ring as a clinical grade device in a consumer package rather than as a technology product.
For us, empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company we work to ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.
We are looking for a Chief Medical Officer to play a key role in shaping Oura’s expansion into enterprise healthcare.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with the Oura leadership team to define the company's vision and strategy for Oura’s role in healthcare delivery and market positioning
- Represent Oura in discussions with healthcare payers and providers on program design and clinical outcomes of interest
- Work closely with Oura’s existing enterprise healthcare customers to plan the expansion of existing programs
- Collaborate with Oura product and engineering teams to drive the direction of new hardware products and software features
- Analyze clinical data and outcomes to inform decision making and improve the efficacy of Oura in care environments
- Shape the roadmap for regulated features while ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations
- Be the face of Oura in the medical community, with press and at conferences
This is a remote US role with a preference for candidates based in San Francisco.
Requirements
We would love to have you on our team if you have:
- Doctor of Medicine degree with 10+ years experience driving digital transformation in the medical / health industry
- A proven track record working with healthcare payers and care providers to design and deploy health interventions that have delivered measurable health outcomes
- A deep understanding of wearable health technology and the potential for patient generated health data to transform care delivery
- Past experience driving large and complex partnerships for innovative digital health programs
- A demonstrated ability of working cross-functionally with software, hardware and science teams to develop exceptionally well designed digital health programs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
- A dedication to holding yourself accountable for hitting goals and metrics
- Passion for the Oura product and our mission to empower everyone to realize their health potential
