Full Job Description

IHDLab is in need of a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join our team. As the CHRO, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. This is a crucial role in our organization, as you will be instrumental in driving employee engagement, enhancing culture, and ensuring HR programs are aligned with our overall business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's objectives
  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and succession planning
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, through the design and implementation of programs that promote a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure their success
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to assess and analyze organizational needs, and develop strategies to address them
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing HR practices
  • Develop and execute programs to enhance employee development and succession planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as a CHRO or a similar leadership role within the healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing HR team
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus
