Role: CFO

Dive deep into strategic financial oversight and be the cornerstone of our client relationships. As CFO, you'll mentor our skilled team, navigate complex technical matters, and report directly to our Chief Client Experience Officer.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in both public and private accounting.
  • Agile, detail-oriented problem solvers.
  • Strong client-facing communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proven track record in leadership roles within entrepreneurial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Development: Interview, train, and mentor our talented team, ensuring their professional growth and providing a helping hand when needed.

Client Collaboration: Oversee a diverse client portfolio. Work closely with our clients to comprehend their vision and financial requirements, tailoring unique solutions that drive their mission forward.

Project Management: Identify client-specific projects that go beyond our regular scope. Take charge from initiation to completion, ensuring we meet both timelines and client expectations.

Service Excellence: Coordinate with cross-functional teams and our Implementation Team, guaranteeing top-notch service and high client retention. Our aim? Net Promoter Scores (NPS) of 9 or higher.

Strategic Proposal Development: Assist in reviewing RFPs and drafting proposals. Have a hand in shaping our future partnerships by determining the best-fit potential clients.

Financial Oversight: Spearhead the creation and oversight of client budgets, financial forecasts, and comprehensive reports, all while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest in client industries and GAAP modifications, providing proactive guidance to both clients and our in-house team.

Operational Efficiency: Join forces with our Shared Services team and other departments, driving operational excellence and unparalleled service delivery.

Build Relationships: Become the trusted advisor to your existing clients. Build relationships with prospective clients and referral partners and increase the firm's visibility and network.

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (REQUIRED), MAcc, MBA, or MSA preferred.
  • Active CPA license issued by a state board of accountancy in the United States
  • MINIMUM 15 years in accounting and finance roles; 6+ in leadership positions.
  • Mastery in tools like QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation:

We're committed to fair pay, evaluating using national and industry-specific data. Compensation will factor in experience, skills, and external market rates. Targeted range for this role is $160,000 to $175,000 annually.
