Chief Building Official

Our partner is seeking a Chief Building Official (CBO) for the City of Sacramento. This role involves overseeing the Building Division within the Community Development Department, providing permit issuance, plan review, and building inspection services. The CBO will lead a team of approximately 80 staff members and focus on collaboration and partnership to deliver optimal services to the City. The position offers an annual salary range of $138,146 - $181,620 DOE/DOQ.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Building Division within the Community Development Department.
• Provide permit issuance, plan review, and building inspection services.
• Lead and mentor a team of approximately 80 staff members.
