Based in California and specialized in personal injury, our client, a fast-growing LA-based PI firm, strives to protect our their and their rights against insurance companies, negligent and irresponsible property owners and employees, and lowball settlements. Their clients entrust us with their claims because they know we go above and beyond to get optimal results.
From car accidents to work-related injuries, the firm champions their clients' claims and stays with them throughout the process.
They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pre-Litigation Case Manager to join their growing team. The Case Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of personal injury cases from initial client intake through settlement negotiation, prior to the filing of a lawsuit. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a compassionate approach to client interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial client interviews and gather detailed information regarding accidents and injuries.
- Open and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately organized and filed.
- Obtain and review medical records, police reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on their case and addressing their concerns.
- Correspond with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties involved in the case.
- Prepare demand packages and negotiate settlements with insurance companies.
- Maintain accurate records of all case-related expenses and communications.
- Assist attorneys with case preparation and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a pre-litigation case manager or legal assistant in a personal injury law firm is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in FileVine preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of personal injury law and procedures is a plus.
