Caregiver NOCs 8p-8a

We are looking for a calm and patient caregiver to provide overnight care for a male client with Dementia/Alzheimer's who lives in Scripps Ranch. The caregiver will work 12-hour night shifts from 8 PM to 8 AM, ensuring the safety and comfort of the client throughout the night.

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous supervision to prevent falls and ensure the client's safety.
• Offer incontinence care, including changing and cleaning as needed.
• Assist with repositioning and ensuring the client is comfortable in bed.
• Monitor the client's condition and report any changes.
• Maintain a calm and supportive environment, engaging with the client if they are awake.
• Follow care plans and agency protocols to ensure the client's needs are met.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer's.
• Ability to provide incontinence care and assist with bed-bound clients.
• Strong observational skills to monitor the client's condition.
• Calm, patient, and compassionate demeanor.
• Dependable and punctual with a consistent work history.

Requirements

• Cell phone with internet access
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
• Active Home Care Aide status (Unsure? We can show you how!)
• Proof of negative TB results
• Valid driver's license and active car insurance
