Caregiver Mon-Fri

Location: La Jolla, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Position Type: Part-Time

Pay Range: $20-$23

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable part-time caregiver to provide companionship and transportation services for a client in La Jolla. This role focuses on supporting the client’s social well-being and ensuring safe transportation to and from appointments, errands, and outings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and engaging companionship, participating in conversations and light activities to enhance the client's quality of life.
• Safely transport the client to scheduled appointments, shopping trips, social outings, or other necessary locations.
• Assist the client with light mobility, if necessary, to and from the car or building entrances.
• Ensure a positive and supportive environment during interactions.
• Standby assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting), meal prep, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Maintain a reliable and punctual schedule.

Requirements

• Cell phone with internet access

• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Valid driver's license and active car insurance
• Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED 
• Active Home Care Aide status (Unsure? We can show you how!)
• Proof of Negative TB results
