Full Job Description
This position is in Sacramento, CA, in office - not remote. This role is tailored to driving the optimization of our operating systems, providing continual review of processes and data to ensure the asset management, construction, and accounting systems are utilized to the fullest extent and data maintained accordingly. This position requires the ability to work cross-functionally and serves as a bridge between the end user and the technical team. This role will gather business and functional requirements from user groups and lead the development and implementation of programs, projects and initiatives that enhance our business operations, communication and workflow efficiencies. It requires a keen level of detail, critical thinking, an understanding of current operating systems and industry knowledge (real estate and construction). This position will facilitate continued training and process improvement and development.
Requirements
· Point of contact for software systems to maintain a level of consistency and accuracy of information across departments
· Coordinates and assists in supervising systems upgrades, conversion, and installations by evaluating and recommending upgrades based on business needs and requirements Evaluate
· Conducts detailed needs assessments for proposing systems and/or business solutions by communicating with senior business leaders, team members, and others, and researching technology and systems options that align with the Company’s technology and systems needs and strategies
· Act as project manager to ensure report development and/or software module implementations are completed in a timely manner. This will include preparing specifications, testing and training user groups
· Evaluate system usage to determine areas for improvement and prepare recommendations for process improvements and training to achieve optimal utilization
· Ensure that technical solutions meet business objectives and requirements
· Continually evaluate system functionality to ensure it meets current and future business needs
- Create comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and technical specifications.
· Provide training and support to end users on new systems and processes
· Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and software technical teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The Business Analyst shall have strong communication skills, be capable of handling multiple projects, and interact with a diverse group of user. Self-management and multi-tasking capabilities are a must. Qualifications shall include:
·Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience working in real estate, finance or technology.
· Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and additional experience is preferred
· Experience with ERP systems or other enterprise software
- High energy individual with ability to work without direct supervision; Self initiator with the ability to problem solve and multi-task effectively
- Must be organized and task oriented, able to work in a fast-paced, team- oriented environment with multiple deadlines, and adapt readily to changing priorities while maintaining an approachable, friendly demeanor
- Must be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees.
- Ability to draft and write correspondence, detailed notes, communications to prepare reports and presentations, and provide information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to motivate others to complete projects on time and coordinate all efforts effectively
