Palo Alto Therapy (now in San Jose, Menlo Park, and Palo Alto) is a growing, high-end therapy practice dedicated to providing quality mental and behavioral health services. We specialize in helping our clients (children through adults) overcome panic, social anxiety, worry, OCD, depression, among many other emotional difficulties, using evidence based therapy, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Palo Alto Therapy is looking for an experienced client/business development professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for helping people to join our team. You will help us serve more people in our community by connecting them with our therapists through identifying and building relationships, leveraging both outbound and inbound tools.

We are a small business with a friendly, professional atmosphere. You would be working with and supporting a team of therapists who provide professional, private, mental health therapy. Be a part of helping people live healthier and happier lives!

Compensation: $28-$32 an hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with room for growth.

Hours & Location: 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday 10:00-6:30 pm. This position will be based primarily in our Palo Alto location, with occasional coverage needed in and around our San Jose and Menlo Park locations.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and build relationships with current and potential referral sources, educating on services provided and driving demand.
  • Represent practice to the community (in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, San Jose, and surrounding areas), including visiting referral sources and attending networking events.
  • Utilize promotional resources to build engagement with current and prospective clients.
  • Respond to new and existing client inquiries via phone, email, text, and chat.
  • Schedule initial appointments with therapists, matching clients with therapists based on needs.
  • Conduct initial intake assessments.
  • Manage and coordinate the client waitlist.
  • Onboard new clients with a focus on client-facing interactions.
  • Help maintain a welcoming and organized office environment.

Requirements

Our Ideal Applicant...

  • 3+ years experience building relationships to drive business growth in a client-facing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or communications, preferably with emphasis in sales or marketing.
  • Experience in or understanding of community surrounding mental health needs.
  • Experience identifying and building relationships with key accounts.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards client and therapist support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data management and CRM systems, Keap or other.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of optimizing against key metrics.
