Bridge Engineer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Bridge Engineer in Santa Ana, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review design calculations
• Research design alternatives, code requirements and present findings
• Prepare and review reports, contract drawings, cost estimates and specifications
• Communicate regularly with the Project Manager as to expected results, workload, and progress
• Advocate for, lead, and mentor entry level engineers
• Communicate and attend meetings with clients, subconsultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Engage in business development activities including information gathering, preliminary design and proposal writing
• Develop accurate engineering designs and plans with quality presentation, while meeting project budgets, schedules, and company standards
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
• Experience with engineering civil design packages including AutoCAD Civil3D
• Familiarity with bridge design principles
• Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
