About the Role
The Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing strategic brand campaigns, partnerships and product launches that build brand awareness and advocacy. The ideal candidate is both creative and data-driven with strong organizational and communication skills. This role will manage a small team to develop and execute strategic brand initiatives.
Objectives:
- Work cross-functionally to build and go-to-market planning and execution for brand campaigns, seasonal launches and product drops.
- Create, own and maintain the integrated marketing calendar and ensure key brand initiatives are executed across all channels.
- Partner with the creative, performance marketing and site merch teams to develop content strategies that increase organic search traffic and improve customer lifecycle KPIs.
- Work with PR agency to maximize earned media impact for key brand moments.
- Identify opportunities for cross-branded promotions and activations.
- Develop content strategies for channel-specific media to drive brand awareness and meet impression goals.
- Work closely with the CEO, CMO, Director of Brand & Influencer Marketing and other key stakeholders to develop brand positioning and communications strategies using consumer insights and competitive research.
- Perform business & competitive analysis, and driving strategic assessment, brand positioning and storytelling for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- GTM Strategy, Brand Execution Planning, Product Launches & Campaigns: Forecast and implement new launches and marketing mix strategies to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences.
- Monitor performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate and assign product launch priorities based on greatest opportunities to hit financial targets, ROI and Brand metrics.
- Develop marketing strategies and core marketing assets across all channels rooted in consumer insights and research.
- Provide inputs on new product launch forecasts.
- Monitor the success, impact, and contribution of all programs, communicating successes, failures, and next steps to leadership on a timely basis.
- Leverage best practice Performance Marketing results in Campaign development and execution.
- Develop and communicate Omni Channel key visual asset packages (messaging/imagery) to provide consistency and streamlined workflow.
- Develop Content for Consumer Events (Live and Virtual) for assigned categories and themes.
- Evaluates competitor promotions and programs for each product group.
- Apprise business teams of competitor activities and changes in the marketplace.
- Ensure timely adjustments to changing markets and competitive conditions based on acquired field knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in related area preferred.
- 6+ years’ experience in brand marketing and brand strategy.
- Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to manage day-to-day details as well as to define the long-term vision and objectives.
- Creative thinker & storyteller with strong organizational, communication, leadership and presentation skills.
- Ability to establish and build effective working relationships.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Familiarity with the Christian community is a significant plus.

Emotional Demands
- Confident decision-making skills. You will need to review data and make sound decisions on what actions to take and make confident recommendations to senior management. You may need to make decisions quickly with limited amounts of information in urgent situations.
- Data analysis & interpretation. You will have to process and review a lot of information from a variety of sources, understand how data is collected, assess data quality, and how to use the information.
- Communication skills. You need to have advanced communication skills in both oral and written form. Emails and written communication with colleagues and external partners, written reports for senior executives. Able to communicate complex financial information to people outside of the finance department.
- Comfortable with technology. Able to navigate data through computers, mobile, software, databases. Stay up to date with technology advances.
- Oriented to detail. Financial forecasts rely on projections which can be impacted by even minor changes in sales patterns, consumer sentiment, economic shifts, competitor changes, etc. You will need to be attuned to small changes in all streams of data.
