Bibilingual Tech Lead Manager(Backend) in Bay Area/Seattle

- Work with cross-functional teams to develop strategy and roadmap for user/minor protection and build related products/features from 0 to 1.

- Lead a team of backend engineers to finalize technical requirements for backend systems needed for user/minor protection products/features, and collaborate with frontend/mobile teams for delivery.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with age related privacy laws and regulations, such as COPPA.

- Manage resources and budgets to optimize team performance and achieve business objectives.

- Establish a strong team by continuously mentoring/growing team members.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including product managers, data scientists, and infrastructure teams.

-Had experience leading user-facing products from 0 to 1. - Strong product sense and can smoothly collaborate with cross-functional partners (PM, User Researcher, etc.).

- 2+ years of experience in managing or technically leading a software engineering team.

- Decent technical skills in backend development, including experience with distributed systems, databases, and APIs.

- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Computer Science or related fields.

- Experience working in an agile development environment. Preferred Qualification

- Comfortable to work as product hybrid (able to step in leadership as needed when working with XFN partners like PM, User Researcher, etc.)

- Strong mentorship skills

- Strong empathy for user/minor's well-being

- Experience with privacy principles and laws, such as GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA

- Experience with privacy impact assessments and risk management.
