Job Title: Bilingual Medical Assistant
Location: Beverly Hills, CA

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Medical Assistant with a strong background in back office duties and proficiency in blood draw procedures. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare support to our patients. This position requires fluency in both English and [Specify Second Language], as well as exceptional interpersonal and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Back Office Support: Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs.
Updating medical histories and documenting patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Preparing patients for various diagnostic tests and treatments.
Ensuring a clean and organized examination room environment.
Blood Draw: Conducting venipuncture and capillary blood collection.
Properly labeling and handling blood samples for laboratory testing.
Following infection control and safety protocols in all blood draw procedures.
Patient Communication: Communicating effectively with patients, explaining procedures, and addressing their questions and concerns.
Providing clear post-procedure instructions to patients as directed by healthcare providers.
Medical Equipment and Supplies: Maintaining and stocking medical supplies in examination rooms.
Ensuring the proper functioning of medical equipment and reporting any issues.
Team Collaboration: Collaborating with nurses, physicians, and administrative staff to ensure the smooth operation of the healthcare facility.
Participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall patient care plan. Must be willing to float to front desk and cover as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification or proof of diploma
- 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with a strong focus on back office and blood draw procedures.
- Familiar with front desk process for possible floating
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Familiarity with OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
- CPR certification is preferred.
