Full Job Description

Control Risks is look for an Audit Program Specialist to support our client's security Internal Audit team. This role will work closely with various stakeholders in the client’s Data Center Security teams to organize, plan, and develop for required audits.

Role tasks and responsibilities:

  • Monitor completion of committed action plans to ensure follow through and assist in mitigation of identified risks.
  • Build, develop, and maintain relationships both internally and externally to help drive strategic objectives with the business.
  • Manage multiple priorities / projects for on-time delivery.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, and adherence to department and professional standards.
  • Arrange suitable physical space for the team to work in provision relevant information (evidence and findings) in a timely manner.
  • Coordination of site visits or other interactions between the various client teams.
  • Arrangement any necessary travel planning for other members of the team.
  • Development of a project plan outlining key milestones and deadlines for different processes.
  • Identification and engagement of personnel within the Data Centers to gather information and evidence requested.
  • Establishment of processes for tracking and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Support the team in recommendations, appropriately communicate, and confirm identified issues with management, work with management to develop remediation action plans, and prepare audit reports.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in program management.
  • Team player with a self-motivated, proactive, and positive can-do attitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Accept ownership and accountability of the process and delivery on commitment.
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects in different time zones.
  • Detail oriented and attention to accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including influencing, building relationships and earning trust.
  • Demonstrates initiative, strong judgment, and commitment for results.

The base salary range for this position in California is $110,000-$120,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per California SB 1162.
