Job Overview

PlanetArt is looking for an Associate Project Manager who will collaborate closely with the Manager of Project Management and QA, Mobile/Web, to support the planning, execution, and tracking of mobile/web development projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to Calabasas as we operate on a hybrid work model consisting of three days in office per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) with the option of working remotely two days (Wednesday and Friday).

What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Project Managers to support the planning and execution of mobile/web projects
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and requirements
  • Work closely with the team of Associate Project Managers and mobile/web QA testers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time
  • Monitor project progress and communicate potential risks or delays
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creative and Content, to refine project scope and requirements
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of mobile/web applications
  • Assist in the identification, documentation, and prioritization of defects
  • Assist in creating, updating and maintaining project documentation in Confluence
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to help resolve project-related issues
  • Escalate issues to the Manager of Project Management when necessary

Requirements

What You Should Have
Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • 1-3 years project management experience required
  • Solid understanding of mobile /web technologies, platforms, and development methodologies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with QA and testing practices for mobile/web applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences including technologists, executives, business partners and IT team members
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-departmentally
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $78,000 - $96,000 annual salary.
