Direct Counsel is partnering with a reputable law firm to find a Senior Associate Attorney. This role is critical for overseeing all assigned client cases, encompassing case research, client relationship management, diligent counsel, intra-firm coordination, and achieving favorable case outcomes. The Senior Associate Attorney will report to the Senior Counsel and/or Partner and will focus on delivering high-quality client service through effective case management and expert legal counsel.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality legal counsel and advice to clients, prospects, and partners.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda to advise clients on a range of topics.
- Stay updated on legal developments in areas such as litigation, corporate law, business transactions, tax law, and more.
- Manage and supervise assigned administrative personnel, including Legal Assistants and Paralegals.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships through ongoing communication and a thorough understanding of client needs.
- Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively.
- Draft and review legal documents, ensuring timely preparation and effective management of case materials.
- Coordinate effectively with opposing counsel and other parties as needed.
- Uphold ethical standards and act in the best interest of clients.
- Demonstrate core values of Integrity, Hard Work, Excellence, and Team in all actions.
- Participate in cross-departmental initiatives and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in law practice.
- Juris Doctorate and California Bar accreditation required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in law, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong supervisory and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
