Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is looking for a 3-5 year Associate Attorney for a Civil Litigation position. Ideal candidates will have a strong litigation background including trial experience in a first or second chair capacity in personal injury and have a desire to join a Litigation Practice. Qualified candidates must be highly organized, possess attention to detail, excellent writing skills and advocates for clients aggressively.

• Draft motions
• Handle all discovery, trial preparation, mediation
• Take and defend depositions
• Work with experts
• Legal research

Qualifications of the Litigation position:

• Motivated with the desire to achieve top level results
• The ability to work well with a team as well as work well independently

Required Experience of the Plaintiff Personal Injury position:

Must have a minimum of 2 plus years’ of solid experience in litigation in State Courts
