Assistant Project Manager- AI Team

OPPO AI Center is seeking self-motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Team in projects focused on Image/Video Enhancement and Generation, Video Understanding, AIGC, LLM, Diffusion Model, Semantic Segmentation, etc.

I. Responsibilities

1.       Take in charge for the department compliance. Ensure project compliance with various external and internal regulations, including but not limited to export control, information and privacy security, data collection, open- source, etc.

2.       Work with engineers to ensure domestic and international regulatory compliance of projects

3.       Work with legal team to establish and enforce procedures for proper source code and data control

4.       Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, manage project progress, and ensure timely completion

5.       Track project progress, organize meeting content, and follow up on execution

Requirements

II. Requirements

1.       Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in computer science, communications, electronic engineering, or related fields is preferred

2.       Strong communication and coordination skills; capable of facilitating cross team collaborations

3.       1+ years of work experience in project management or related fields, with understanding and passion in smartphone/consumer electronics industry

4.       Basic knowledge and understanding of algorithm development for edge devices or related domains

III. Additional qualifications

1.       Professional certification (e.g. PMP 、PMP-ACP) is preferred;

2.       Familiarity with water-fall, agile development, project management software( Jira, PLM, etc.）, and other tools;

3.       Experience in mobile phone hardware and software development, testing, or algorithm engineering is preferred.

4. Fluent in Chinese speaking and writing is a big plus.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $30-$60/hour. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
