What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking an Assembly Operator in the Los Angeles, CA area who is organized with an excellent attention to detail. As an Assembly Operator you are responsible for assembling intricate aerospace hinges, adhering to detailed manufacturing plans, and performing in-process inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met. You will install hinge pins, part mark assemblies, install rivets, perform paint-touch up, and install complex components.
This is a Shift Role, and we are specifically looking for individuals available to work the Day Shift from 7-3:30pm Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability.

If you are a team player with a keen eye for detail, you are set for success in this role. Your ability to follow tasks and adhere to protocols will be highly valued. As this role is in a manufacturing environment, expect to be on your feet throughout the workday. If you possess a strong focus on maintaining established protocols, are consistently punctual, and have a genuine interest in leveraging your expertise we would love to hear from you.
Pay Rate, depending on experience is: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour and is eligible for Overtime
Requirements
What success looks like:
Assembly Operations
- Assemble intricate hinge systems, including retainers, safety wires, and other complex components.
- Read and interpret manufacturing plans and basic dimensional drawings.
- Perform detailed touchup work on parts, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Clip pins to precise specifications.
- Rivet parts together with precision and attention to detail.
In Process Inspection: Assembly
- Inspect complex assemblies for both visual and functional quality, ensuring part geometry is maintained.
- Monitor output to ensure parts conform to quality standards.
Job Scanning
- Responsible for accurately logging work by scanning into and out of jobs.
- Track progress and ensures proper documentation of the work completed.
Staging and Inspection Location Execution
- Responsible for managing the flow of materials and parts through the staging areas to maintain efficiency and prevent delays in the assembly process.
5S Housekeeping: Assembly Areas
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area by following 5S principles.
Troubleshooting Assembly
- Responsible for identifying issues during the assembly process and working with the team to resolve them quickly and effectively.
